What is the Karriereportal Kerntechnik?

The Karriereportal Kerntechnik is a personal meeting format focused on orientation, exchange and concrete perspectives on careers and the future in nuclear and energy technology.

All students and doctoral candidates from STEM fields (science, technology, engineering, mathematics), engineering and economics, as well as related disciplines.

Trainees in these areas, career starters and career changers are also welcome.

The participating companies are specifically looking for young talents for their sites in Germany, but they are also internationally active and globally connected..

This opens up opportunities for you to work on projects and build careers abroad. The event itself is held in German, but all representatives also speak English. In addition, there are English-language group sessions so that international students in Germany are actively included.

Clarity, contacts, new perspectives.  Depending on your goals you will…

  • gain exclusive access to leading companies and talk one-to-one with executives and young professionals.
  • get clarity about your own path.
  • find your dream job, the one that really fits you.
  • secure a practice-oriented thesis project (PhD, master’s, bachelor’s).
  • take away valuable experience in the application process and networking, as well as many new contacts and impressions.

You will get information on internships, thesis projects (bachelor’s, master’s, PhD) and scholarships from the participating companies. In addition, a team will be there to support you that has gone through studies and careers themselves – and is happy to share their experiences with you.

Yes. Many companies at the event offer concrete entry opportunities, from direct entry to trainee programs.

With a broad spectrum of jobs, there is something for all engineering, scientific and business-related fields.
